She supervised Christmas tree plantations in the area for several years. She enjoyed fishing and hunting and belonged to several fishing clubs in the area. At one time she was voted one of the finest rifle shooters in Wexford County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David in 1969.
Visitation was 2-4 and 7-9 pm Wednesday 30 Dec 1992 at Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac. Funeral services were 31 Dec 1992 at Peterson Funeral Home with Rev Lloyd Jewett officiating.
Memorial Contributions were to be made to the Oncology Unit at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac.
