Mrs. Gladys Warhurst Robbins, 73, Russellville, Ala., died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002, at UAB Hospital, Birmingham. Visitation was 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at Union Hill Methodist Church, with burial in Union Hill Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 1 to 2 p.m. Officiating at the funeral will be Shelby Phillips. Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing. Above all, she was a lady who loved her Lord and her family. She was a loving, compassionate mother and grandmother who will be sorely missed, but it is a great comfort to know she is now at rest in our Gods loving arms. She is survived by a son, Kenneth Robbins, Birmingham, Ala.; daughters, Linda Jeffers, Frankfort, Ohio, Patricia Robbins, Pasadena, Calif., Janice Kinard, Phil Campbell, Ala., Elizabeth Swinney, Winter Garden, Fla., Sarah Cash, Phil Campbell, Ala.; brother, Verdo Warhurst, Phil Campbell, Ala.; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
