MRS. MAE HECKMAN. Mrs. Mae L. Heckman, 80, died Thursday evening after a lingering illness. Mrs. Heckman was born in Nachusa township, March 17, 1872, and had lived in the Dixon area all her life. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Lena Clark, Turlock, Calif.; Mrs. Clayton (Vera) Rhodes, Dixon; Mrs. Mary Moore, Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. Elmer (Carrie) Le Fevre, Dixon; Walter, Franklin Grove, and Charles R., Dixon; 14 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, and one infant son. Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Chapel Hill funeral home with the Rev. George J. Curran officiating.
