Notes: Gertrude Sophia Horn was employed as a saleslady in a bakery store in Chicago, Illinois and was living with her parents in Cicero. She committed suicide by inhaling gas fumes in her parents home. She never married.

She was survived by her parents; two sisters, Estelle and Loretta Horn; and two brothers, Robert and Ernest Horn. She was preceded in death by a sister, Elsie Horn.

There is no gravestone for Gertrude Horn, but she is buried with her parents.

There is no grave marker for her at the location provided: Section F, Lot 699. The location photographed was confirmed by the in-ground lot markers, the presence of other family members in the same burial plot, and a search of the surrounding lots also failed to turn up a grave marker for her. The photograph shows the entire lot.
