Cora Blue Hope Johnston, of Magnolia Drive, died Friday morning at Laughlin Health Care Center.
Mrs. Johnston was a retired registered nurse.
She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Faith Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Johnston was also a member of the Republican Women's Club.
Survivors include her husband: Leland Johnston; two sons: Charles Hope of Knoxville and Richard Hope of Greeneville; a daughter and son-in-law: Dinah and Tom Mattis of Knoxville; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother: William Looney of Greeneville; three sisters: Maggie Higgins, Clara Wilhoit, and Roxie Wexler, all of Greeneville; and several niece, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
She was a daughter of the late Michael and Julia Looney and was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Hope Sr., four brothers, and three sisters.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 this evening at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon at First Baptist Church with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery. The Rev. James W. Best will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Jim Whiteside, Howard Wexler, Tom Humphreys, and John Hendrix, and her grandsons: James Hope and Chris Hope.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund, First Baptist Church, 211 N. Main St., Greeneville, TN 37745.
