Harold E. Looney, 66, of Greystone Road, died Friday evening at Life Care Center of Greeneville.

Mr. Looney was a Methodist.

Those close to him knew him as a kind, humble, caring, and
loving person.

He was a son of the late Michael and Julia Ann Looney.

Survivors include four sisters and two brothers-in-law: Maggie Higgins, Clara Wilhoit, Cora and Leland Johnston, and Roxie and Howard Wexler, and a brother and sister-in-law: William "Boss" and Dollie Looney, all of Greene County; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three sisters: Ota Hensley, Addie Humphreys, and Ruby LaFollette; three brothers: Ezra Looney, Claude Looney, and Elmer "Bud" Looney; and two nephews.

The family received friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at Doughty-Stevens Chapel with interment in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. The Rev. Rocky Johnson will officiate.

Nephews will be pallbearers.
