Barbara was born May 22, 1939 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Gladys Green Jarrett Clark of Minden and Alva Jarrett of Doyline. She returned to her Heavenly home on October 2, 2013 at age 74. Barbara was raised in Minden with five siblings that included three sisters and two brothers. She attended high school at Minden High Barbara was a hard worker and started her first job at the Louisiana Army Ammunition Plant. She also worked at Western Electric on the ringer line for many years and then later at Walker Bros. Country Store in Haughton where everyone affectionately called her "granny." Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Lonnie and Jimmy Jarrett and sisters, Evelyn Lee and Doris Triplet.
