Funeral services for Doris Triplet, 74, of Minden, will be held at 10 a.m. at Rockett Funeral Home Chapel in Ringgold on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, with Bro. James Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Gilgal Cemetery in Minden.

Mrs. Triplet was born Jan. 4, 1935, in Doyline and passed away Jan. 29, 2009, at the Grace Home in Shreveport after a long illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alva Jarrett and Gladys Clark; a sister, Evelyn Lee; brother, Lonnie Jarrett; and two sons, David and Russell Triplet.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Stacy Garcie of Sibley; son, Mike Triplet of Minden; sisters, Louise Coyle and Barbara Evans, both of Minden; brother, Jimmy Jarrett of Irving, Texas; Six grandchildren; Six great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Justin Moss, Nathan Triplet, Ricky Lee, Sonny Wilson, Millard Boyet, and Robert Cross. Honorary pallbearers will be Earl Uzzle and Ricky Uzzle.
