Born in Degli Albanese formerly Piana d' Grece Sicily. Passed peacefully in the arms of our Lord on September 19, 2005 at age of 91. Preceded in death by daughter Joan Marie Lienert, wife Josephine DiMaggio, parents Joseph and Josephine DiMaggio, sister Ann Milo and nephews Monte Milo and Matthew Seivert. Survived by son-in-law Frank Lienert Jr., granddaughters Lisa Hinton (David) and Jody Thompson (Robert), grandson Frank Lienert, great-grandchildren Dominic, Elizabeth and Michael Hinton, niece Stepheny Milo, nephews Johnnie Waldron and Fred Taylor, and sister-in-law Rose Taylor. Immigrated to United States via Ellis Island as an infant with his older sister and parents where they made their home in the Oak Park neighborhood of Sacramento. Dominic and his sister attended American Legion Elementary in Oak Park where Dominic walked his pet goat to school. Dominic married the love of his life Josephine Pane on November 7, 1937. The other love of Dominic's life, daughter Joan Marie was born on June 19, 1942. Dominic was employed at State Box in West Sacramento (now Raley Field) for over 42 years. Dedicted 'worker bee' with Lienert's Honey for over 30 years. Loving friend, neighbor, and patron of Corti Bros. on Folsom Blvd. A special thank you to Providence Care Home for all of the loving care you gave.
