A native of Sacramento, born June 19, 1942, passed away with family by her side at Sutter Memorial Hospital January 17, 2004. Age 61 years. Beloved wife of 33 years, "Queen Bee" of Frank E. Lienert Jr. Loving daughter of Dominic DiMaggio and daughter-in-law of Frank Lienert Sr. Beloved mother of Lisa Hinton and husband David, Jody Lienert and fiance Robert Thompson and Frankie Lienert. Devoted Nanny of Dominic and Elizabeth Hinton. Also survived by cousin, Stepheny Milo; sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by her mother, Josephine DiMaggio; mother-in-law, Marie Lienert; and cousin, Matthew Sievert. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, nanny, neighbor and friend. Joan had many friends at her former places of employment, City of Sacramento Building Inspection Department and Sacramento City Unified School District. She was a dedicated parent volunteer for over seventeen years at All Hallows Catholic School. Joan was a member of San Joaquin Valley Swiss Club, pulmonary hypertension support groups and former member of I.C.F. #183. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, January 22, 2004 at 10:00am at ALL HALLOWS CHURCH, 5501 14th Ave. Entombment St. Mary's Cemetery. Remembrances may be made in Joan's memory to PHA, 850 Sligo Ave. Suite 800, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
