Mrs. Susie McAlister Crouch, 88, who had lived in Hamburg since 1956, died at her home on Tuesday, April 20, 1999. A native of Hector in Pope County, she was the daughter of the late George Walker and Naomi Robertson McAlister, a homemaker and member of the Hector Freewill Baptist Church. She was the Extension Homemakers Club woman of the year in 1971-1972.
