Yvonne J. Osborn, 86, of Clay City, died at 2:15 p.m. June 16, 2003 at Good Samaritan RHC in Mt. Vernon, IL.
She was born in Creek County, OK, the daughter of Clinton Presley & Martha Jenella George Broadway. She married Lewis Everett "Lew" Osborn May 14, 1937 in Medicine Lodge, Kansas. He preceded her in death January 5, 1966.
She was an employee of Flora International Shoe Company from 1957 to 1977, the Flora Elks Club & Quasar. She was a member of the Clay City Christian Church, Flora Moose Ladies Auxiliary, & a past member of the Order of Eastern Star. She loved music & dancing.
Survivors include two sons: Everett W. & Larry E. Osborn; a daughter Kaaren Bangert; a brother: John R. Broadway of Oilton, OK; grandchildren: Kathy Leonard, Steve Bangert, Edward Osborn, & Angela Daniels; five great grandchildren: Megan & Aaron Leonard, Ronald, Nathanial & Jonathan Daniels.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, five brothers & three sisters.
Funeral services were held June 18, 2003 at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora, with Rev Brad Harris officiating. Burial was in Floral Garden of Memories in Flora.
