Wallace Knight "Ladd" Boardman is the son of Charles Knight Boardman (1882-1946) and Mabel Bowen Boardman (1883 - 1966). He is the paternal grandson of Charles Davis Boardman (b. 1854) and Ida May Ross (b. 1856).
Ladd married the Belle of the South in 1929, Myrtle Belle Hooper Wilson (1909 - 1985) but parted ways after less than a year with no children. He married Ida Mae "Impy" Pickering (1914 - 2002) in a beautiful garden wedding in 1934 and had one child, Sandra Jo Boardman Palm (1935 - ). Ladd's third marriage was to Cecile "Ceci" Georgia Kingman (1913 - 1982), and the pair became lifelong residents of Alhambra, CA. They are survived by their sons, George Kent (1944 - ) and Robert Keith (1947 - ). Grandchildren from both marriages include Sherrod Palm Shiveley (1963 - ), Bretton Douglas Palm (1965 - ), Trudy Boardman DeMott (1970 - ), Jon Kent Boardman (1973 - ), Brian Boardman (1978 - ) and Stacey Boardman Shea (1980 - ).
