Greenwood - Lucius Carl Anderson, 69, retired salesman, died Wednesday at a Columbia hospital.
He was a native of Madison County, GA, a son of the late Alfred Pinkney and Susan Ridgeway Anderson. He had made his home in Greenwood since 1919.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs Edith Smith Anderson; a son Lt. Col. James E Anderson, Panama City, FL; four daughters, Mrs Frances R Street and Mrs Peter Zouras, of Greenwood, Mrs W A Nickles Jr of Hodges and Mrs Thomas E Hollingsworth of Greenville; 15 grandchildren, and a brother Jesse D Anderson Sr of Calhoun GA.
Services will be from Blyth Funeral Home Friday at 4pm.
