Charleston - Funeral services were held today at the McMikle Funeral Home here for Ray C. Fonda, 65 years old, of Charleston. Burial was in the IOOF Cemetery.
Mr. Fonda died Saturday at the Host House here.
He was born July 7, 1907, at Dayton, Ohio. He was an Army veteran and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, East St. Louis Lodge #4.
He was employed as a traffic clerk for 45 years by the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad prior to his retirement in 1969.
His wife Mrs. Nellis Fonda, died in 1957.
Surviving is his step-mother, Mrs. Kathryn Fonda and a step-brother, Harry Herwig.
