Isa was the daughter of Verdine Gillette, Sr., and Anna (Lund). She married Capt. Jay P. Jennings on February 14, 1895. They divorced, and he later drowned when his ship went down on Lake Superior in 1914. After they divorced, she married Klaus Baker on May 4, 1898. They owned and operated a grocery store and gas station. She is survived by her husband, Klaus; a son, Gillette George Baker, and daughter, Anna (Bernard) Kamaarad. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sons, Gillette Henry and Arthur Eric.
