Chester F. Hannan, 58, formerly of Union, Maine, died suddenly in Medfield, Massachusetts on Monday. He had lived in Mefield for the past four years.
He was born in Union on May 14, 1908, the son of Chester W. and Ruby (Upham) Hannan. Mr. Hannan was a dairy farmer by occupation.
Surviving are his widow, Alma Mitchell Hannan, Ruby Hannan of Burkettville, son, daughter five grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home, Waldoboro, Rev. Charles Kinney officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Union.
Friends may call at Hall Funeral Home on Wednedsay from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
