Earldeen Braddy Hughes -LYONS - Ms. Earldeen Braddy Hughes, 65, of 1001 N. Loop Rd., Vidalia, died late Tuesday night, March 15, at her daughters residence in Dublin after an extended illness. Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon, March 18, at 3P.M. from Vidalia Baptist Temple with Rev. Paul Thompson and Rev. David Edenfield officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery. -Ms. Hughes was a native of Montgomery County residing in Vidalia for the past 45 years. She was a homemaker, a charter member of Vidalia Baptist Temple and manager for Lighthouse Singers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Estelle and Elzie Humphrey and Otis Braddy, and one sister, Wauline Moxley. She was the former wife of Sweet Hughes for 28 years. -Ms. Hughes is survived by two daughters, Susan L. Young and husband, Fred of Dublin and Carol J. Jeffcoat and husband, Brad of Vidalia; one son, Don R. Paradice and wife, Pam of Vidalia; one brother, Oliver Bennett Braddy and wife, Joyce of Lexington, SC; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. -The will assemble at the family residence in Vidalia and will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. -Ronnie L. Stewart Family Funeral Service of Vidalia is in charge of funeral arrangements.
