Reidsville – Charlie Winford Draper, 88, of 121 Camp Dan Valley Road, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Hospice of Rockingham County.
Charlie was born in Rockingham County to the late Cannie and Maggie Purgason Draper. He was a volunteer fireman in Wentworth, NC for 20 years, was a farmer, raised cattle and loved the outdoors. He retired from American Tobacco Company after 38 years of service. Charlie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his son, Wesley Draper; his brothers, Edmond Draper, Hugh Draper, Roy Draper and Paul Draper; and sister, Mintoria Brame.
He is survived by his wife,one son, one daughter,a grandson and a brother and daughter-in-law,
