Nancy Jane Adams

Miss Nancy Jane Adams, aged 20, of R. D. 2, Volant, died at her residence Friday evening at 1:55 o'clock, death being caused by complications following a week's illness. Miss Adams was born in Grant City, Lawrence county, on February 20, 1923, a daughter of Frank L. and Cirilla R. Covert Adams. She had resided in the vicinity of Plaingrove for 18 years and was a member of Plaingrove U. P. church. Miss Adams had always been well like and was popular among the young people. Surviving are her parents; the following sisters: Mrs. Ruth J. Shaw of Grove City, Mrs. Isabelle McNulty of Springdale, Pa., Estella M. Adams at home, and brothers, Cpl. Everett J. Adams army air force, Las Vegas, Nev., and Clyde N. Adams at home; one niece and three nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Cunningham funeral home, Leesburg, with Rev. J. C. Fulton, Portersville U. P. church, in charge. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 9 and Sunday and Monday afternoons and evenings from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 o'clock.
