Ethelyne W. Baker, 96, of Lawndale, Calif., died Monday (Apr. 15, 1985) in Torrance, Calif., following a long illness.
A native of the Dansville-Wayland area, she was a former teacher in Wayland prior to moving to California in 1940.
Survivors include a son, Robert Baker of Manhatten Beach, Calif., another son, Herb Baker of California and a daughter, Margaret Shazele of South Dakota; nieces and nephews.
A service was conducted in the Chamberlin Funeral Home of Dansville Tuesday afternoon. Burial was in Erwin Cemetery, Springwater. (GCE, April 25, 1985, p25)
