Hassie Heafner Avery, 86, formerly of Ingleside Farm Road, Iron Station, died June 4, 2005.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday in the Warlick Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery in Lincolnton. The family will receive friends from 7 – 8:30 p.m. today.
A native of Tallahassee, Fla., she was a homemaker.
Survivors include three sons, Billy D. Avery of Lincolnton, Wilford D. Avery of Iron Station and Bobby L. Avery of Alexis; two daughters, Julie E. Burgess of Maiden and Hattie M. Avery of Iron Station; a brother, John R. Heafner; a sister, Nora Jane Mark; and nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
