His funeral service will be 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Helms officiating. Burial will follow in the Alexis Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Avery was born January 13, 1946 in Lincoln County to the late Ralph Flay Avery, Sr. and Hassie Heafner Avery. He was a heavy equipment operator and a cowboy horse trader.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Helms Avery of the home; one son, Bobby Larry Avery, Jr. of Iron Station; one daughter, Tammy Avery of Iron Station; one brother, Dwight Avery of Denver; two sisters, Marcel Perkins and Julia Burgess, both of Denver; four grandchildren, Dylan Avery, Alexis Vaughn, Jessica Worley, and Emialy Avery; and one great-grandchild, Lillyann Vaughn.
