This event of the birth of triplets for Roy Green Shown and Elizabeth Chapmon Shown although a tragic event was something that created such a tremendous love for the rest of their children who did survive. These little fellows should never be forgotten...we will see them again...one day!

Reidsville, N.C. July 21--Edna Earle. the 14 day daughter of Mr. and Mrs Roy Shown died at her home on Wentworth Street extension Monday morning at 7 o'clock. Burial will be at the Old Salem Church this afternoon at 4 o'clock. She was one of the triplets recently born to Mr. and Mrs. Shown--the other two preceding her a few days.
