Annie Arrington Kirk, 92, of Martinsville, formerly of Rocky Mount, died Christmas Eve, Friday, December 24, 2004. She was born in Penhook, Virginia, October 16, 1912, a daughter of the late Willie Arrington and Roberta Davidson Arrington. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Bernard C. Kirk; son, Robert C. Kirk; three sisters, Daisy A. Hatchett, Willie A. Law, and Doris A. Kirk; and two brothers, John Arrington and Love Arrington. She is survived by a son, Fred G. Kirk of Martinsville, Virginia; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. She was a long-time member of Rocky Mount Christian Church where she was active in Sunday School, the Circle, and participated in Lord's Acre activities. A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at Flora Funeral Home Chapel in Rocky Mount, Virginia. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Donations can be made to Rocky Mount Christian Church at 120 South Main Street, Rocky Mount, Va. 24151. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
