Mrs. Letha Applegate, 52, R.R. Shelbyville, wife of Merrill
Applegate, died at 6:45 p.m. Friday at Major Hospital where she had been a patient since Wednesday.
Mrs. Applegate was born Dec. 1, 1912 at Greenwood, the daughter of Louie and Stella(Haley)Snapp.
She was married to Mr. Applegate on Feb. 28, 1930, and he survives with two children, Mrs. Patricia Stevens of Danville and Wilbur Dale Applegate of this city.
Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Florence Smith of Acton, and eight grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Ewing Mortuary.
Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery.
