He attended the University of Utah and was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He married Lynn Keating, his best friend and soul mate, on May 19, 1973. He made significant contributions to his community through his volunteer work and involvement in various organizations. Charlie, with his family, donated his time as a volunteer for The Good Samaritan Program. He served on the board for the ARC of Salt Lake. Charlie was an active member of the Italian-American Civic League and the International Footprint Association, serving terms as president for both organizations. Throughout his life he has received recognition and numerous awards from many organizations for his dedication and commitment.
