Slight home was held last night by physicians in general hospital for the recovery of Mrs. Martha Bemis, 83 years old, who was injured Monday night when she fell from the front porch at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. R. Jones, 708 Troost avenue. In addition to bruises and cuts, further examination yesterday revealed a probable puncture of the right lung. (unidentified newspaper clipping)
