DAVENPORT - Robert Wayne LeMar, of Davenport, died Monday, January 29, 2007, at Genesis Medical Center East Campus. Funeral Services will be Friday, February 2, 2007, at 11:30 a.m. at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Thursday, February 1, 2007, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family. Robert was born February 6, 1935, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Roy and Mildred (Smith) LeMar. He was united in marriage to Barbara J. Lehman 1958, in Des Moines, Iowa. He was employed as a teacher and later as a counselor for the Davenport Community Schools. He retired in 1998. Robert was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes wrestling fan and held season tickets, but most of all he was very loyal and giving to all who knew him. Those left to honor his memory are sons and daughter-in-law, Clint and Valerie LeMar, Kennewick, Wash., and Jeff LeMar, Dallas, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, LuAnne and Craig Beintema, Freeport, Ill.; daughter, Michele LeMar, Princeton, Ill.; sons and daughter-in-laws, Jason and Anna LeMar, Hobart, Ind., and Jarrod and Ann LeMar, Davenport, Iowa; brothers, Dr. Gerald LeMar, Des Moines, Iowa, and Donald LeMar, of South Carolina; sister, Nancy Swain, of New Mexico; and granchildren, Isaac, Arthur, Heidi, Jon, Amy, Mollie, Matthew, Nicole, Austin, and Tylor. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Clifton, son, Scott William, and daughter-in-law, Monica.
