Barbara J. LeMar, 70, of Princeton, Ill., formerly of Davenport, died Thursday, May 24, 2007, at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 31, 2007, at Davenport Memorial Park. The Runge Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
She was born October 4, 1936, in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Harold and Eleanor Lehman. Barbara Lehman was united in marriage to Robert Lemar in Des Moines in1958.
She was a homemaker and worked as a certified nurse assistant. She enjoyed ceramics and was very loyal and giving to all who knew her.
Those left to honor her memory are sons and daughter in law, Clint and Valerie LeMar, Kennewick, Wash., Jeff LeMar, Dallas, Ga; daughter and son in law, LuAnne and Craig Beintema, Freeport, Ill., daughter, Michele LeMar, Princeton, Ill., son and daughter in law, Jason and Anna Lemar, Hobart, Ind., Jarrod and Ann LeMar, of Davenport, grandchildren, Isaac, Arthur, Heidi, Jon, Amy, Mollie, Matthew, Nicole, Austin, and Tylor; and one sister and brother in law, Judy and Joseph Heinen, Des Moines, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Scott William, and daughter in law Monica.
