Marion Armstrong WEST POINT - Marion Lene Tubbs Armstrong, 78, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point. Married Otis Jamison Armstrong

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Third Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in West Point with the Rev. Al Lathan officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in West Point. Carter's Mortuary Services in West Point is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include two sons, Opie Tubbs of Humble, Texas, and Vincent O. Tubbs of West Point; four daughters, Evonne Collins of Fayetteville, N.C., Jennifer Calvert of Brighton, Tenn., Helen Tubbs and Ada Lee, both of West Point; one brother, Felix Tubbs of Jackson, Tenn.; one sister, Loujean Weatherspoon of Greenville; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Earl and Ada Tubbs; one brother, Early Tubbs; two sisters, Ollie C. Suggs and Mattie G. Crawford.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
