Vincent Otis Tubbs, 44, died Oct. 29, 2010, at University Medical Center in Jackson. Services are Friday at 1 p.m. at Third Mt. Olive MB Church. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is today from 3-6 p.m. at Carter's Mortuary Services Chapel in West Point.
Mr. Tubbs was born March 10, 1966, in West Point to Otis Jamison and Marion Lene Tubbs-Armstrong. He worked for Southwire Company in Starkville.
He is survived by his son, Raphael Terrell of Houston; brother, Opie Tubbs of Houston; sisters, Helen D. Tubbs, Ada Lee, Valarie Collins, all of West Point, Evonne Collins of Fayetteville, N.C., and Jennifer Calvert of Brighton, Tenn.
