Sharpsburg -- EARLE ALEXANDER (Pete) MOORE, 73, 105 W. Antietam St., died Thursday at his home. Born in Keedysville, he was the son of the late Harry W. and Daisy L. Moore Fisher.

He was employed at Coffman Body Shop until his retirement. He was a member of the Keedysville United Methodist Church. He was a charter member and organizer of the Sharpsburg Volunteer Fire Company.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Renner Moore; daughter, Mrs. Lois Leatherman, Lutherville, Md.; two sons, James M. Moore, Funkstown; and Roger E. Moore, Beaver Creek; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services were held at the Osborne Funeral Home, Sharpsburg. Burial was made in Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg.

Mrs. DAISY LUCRECIA FISHER, 86, of Rt. 1, died Sunday afternoon at Washington County Hospital. Born in Keedysville, she was the daughter of James Alexandria and Mary Jane Sagle Moore. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Keedysville. She is survived by one son, Earle A. Moore of Sharpsburg; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Services were held at the Osborne Funeral Home, Sharpsburg. Burial in Fairview Cemetery in Keedysville.
