He was employed at Coffman Body Shop until his retirement. He was a member of the Keedysville United Methodist Church. He was a charter member and organizer of the Sharpsburg Volunteer Fire Company.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Renner Moore; daughter, Mrs. Lois Leatherman, Lutherville, Md.; two sons, James M. Moore, Funkstown; and Roger E. Moore, Beaver Creek; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the Osborne Funeral Home, Sharpsburg. Burial was made in Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Keedysville. She is survived by one son, Earle A. Moore of Sharpsburg; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Services were held at the Osborne Funeral Home, Sharpsburg. Burial in Fairview Cemetery in Keedysville.
