Two cemeteries are located on the same property at the intersection of Red Cherry Rd & County EE, just west of Baileys Harbor, in Door County, WI. One cemetery is called the Baileys Harbor Cemetery, and the other one is St. Mary's of the Lake Cemetery.

One of the earliest known burials in the Baileys Harbor Town Cemetery is 1857 (as listed on Find a Grave).
The Catholic cemetery had its beginnings in about 1884.
Saint Mary's of the Lake Cemetery is on the south end of the Baileys Harbor Town Cemetery. According to the following news clipping, the Catholic cemetery was first situated to the north of the town cemetery. It appears to have had it origins in about 1885 or 1884. Infant Gertrude Libert was buried there in June 1884.
Door County Advocate; 10-8-1885; pg 2 col 1 Baileys Harbor: "Last week, at a frolic for the purpose of leveling off the new catholic cemetery which is situated just north of the town cemetery, it was discovered that the rock lay within twelve inches of the surface of the ground. This will probably necessitate the selection of a new location and removal of eight or ten bodies already interred."
This information could be helpful in determining which cemetery individuals have been buried in since there seems to currently be some confusion with all names originally having been added to Saint Mary's of the Lake on Find a Grave.
