DOBSON SCHOOLHOUSE CEMETERY The cemetery sits just East of where the Dobson School used to sit. It was a school in District 17 and was used from 1858-1953.Follow US 169 North from Elmore for about 2 mile and you come to the first gravel road. Turn left and it is about 1 mile down the road on the right side of the road.It is in Section 17 of Elmore Township.At the front of the cemetery is a plaque listing all the burials on record for the cemetery. I have copied this and in a few cases have added info taken from the tombstones themselves. Such as parents names, husbands names, ages at death, and cause of death.At the end of the list there were 3 listed with little known about them. I am putting them, as listed, at the end of this list.Transcription done by Diane Oldfather in 2002.
