Located behind the Rectory between 7th and 8th Streets, Laurel, Prince George's County, Maryland
It was the first Catholic church and cemetery in Laurel, Maryland with construction beginning in 1842 and the first service held on January 22, 1843. There are no records going back past the 1890's but the oldest recorded stone dates to September 7, 1845. For many years the church was called St. Mary of the Mills but is now generally called St. Mary's.
