Winding around the signs, still staying on Hwy 60 - go several miles, then turn RIGHT onto Old Dial Road
Old Dial Road will continue onto an intersection, (Lower Star Creek Rd/Old Dial Road to your left) go straight and you will be on Padena Road. When you come to another intersection on the gravel road, bear RIGHT to stay on Padena Road. The road will become gravel for several miles, just keep going straight. You will pass several homes. You will come to a section where there is a house on your right and to the left. The sign says, "Private Drive" (and Old Camp Loop Road). Bear slightly left and go down that Private Drive. When you come to a dirt road straight ahead, bear left again and park in front of a gate to a house called "The Toole's Abode Cabin - Bear Bottom Cove" sign. The house is deep in the woods, and they can't see you.
The rest of the roads are sometimes, impassable/un-named. Get out of your car and walk behind the car to the intersection you just passed at 20 feet.
Go north up the dirt road (about 250 steps) and turn right at the 1st logging road you see to your right. Keep going straight (about 200 more steps) onto the road. You will see a white toilet (if its still there, just laying on your left on a hill). Bear right again.
You may have to climb over some trees that have fallen on the roadway. Further up you will see a GULLY forming on your left, there's a steep hill.....just keep walking straight.
On your last 50 steps: LOOK to your LEFT, as you keep walking here, because up towards your LEFT will be a green meadow with some burnt trees.
From the dirt road, cross the gully (where you can; IF you can) and climb up the little hill and look for the meadow.
At the top of this hill, are the graves of Mason Green Tarpley (1820 - 1907) and his wife Sarah Carter (Kent) Tarpley (1825 - 1903).
After looking at the graves (which I hope to fence around soon)......stand in the middle of the graves, and look for the road - walk straight ahead back to the gully and get yourself back on the dirt road. Continue (straightly right, at the bottom of the gully) back to where your car is. It really isn't hard at this point.
