Douglass Cemetery

Sometime around 1963, a son of John Daniels, Richard B (Dick) Douglass, deeded 1/2 acre of land to Mexicans from the Murray Farm for their use to bury their dead. Many unidentified graves are outside the enclosure in the woods and underbrush.
Directions to Cemetery from Lovelady, Texas: Take Weldon Road, FM 230, go west approximately 7.4 miles. At a 76 Union Oil sign, turn right on FM 2915. Go approximately 6 miles to the top of the red clay hill where the enclosure is marked by the Cemetery Sign on the right.
