McGee Family Burial Ground was listed in a 19 Sep 1960 Cemetery Survey conducted by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints (Sedalia, Missouri Branch) volunteers. This "complete canvass" identified four legible markers.

The cemetery was "Located 6 miles South of Highway 50 on State Rd. C, then 2 miles east. Back of B. H. Mitchell Farm."

This grave is currently located in the Flat Creek Baptist Cemetery, Sedalia, Pettis County, Missouri (Find A Grave Memorial 28475734). This suggests the grave may have been moved from McGee Burial Ground, or McGee Burial Ground may have been absorbed into the Flat Creek Baptist Cemetery.
