From page 35 in Partelo Ancestry by Devere Allen: "This cemetery is across the road, diagonally, from the house in which we used to live in North Stonington, now the residence of Charles Brown. It is not listed or mapped on the CT Tercentenary Map of Stonington and North Stonington Cemeteries, 1935, the omission being one of error. In fact, although a WPA worker, under the direction of the North Stonington Town Clerk, Mr. Charles Palmer, compiled a book of cemetery records, this graveyard and also the old ALLEN-WRIGHT burying ground were overlooked until, belated, I called the attention of Mr. Palmer to them and furnished him with a list of the inscriptions."
