Status: Destroyed by a bulldozer for a citrus grove.
This cemetery is no longer in existence, said to have been plowed over to plant a orange grove. The Tampa Tribune reported vandalism at this cemetery in Jul of 1956, where it is stated that Caroline Buzbee's grave was vandalized and broken into. There is no signs of this cemetery now and there is no record of any of these graves being moved.
Several headstones were found at the rear of the property but are no longer visible. The best guess is they were knocked down by people mowing and got covered up or destroyed.
This cemetery was destroyed for a citrus grove. Five broken markers were found. No bones were found, only headstones. They are laying about on the junction of the properties that were homesteaded by the Buzbee and Barnes families. There were about 40 graves in this cemetery so there are a lot to be found yet.
The cemetery is located behind the property of H. H. Lamp on Bell Shore Rd. The plot was used by the Barnes and Buzbee families, and has not been used for burials since 1940.
