This cemetery contains the remains of unclaimed female inmates of the adjacent Bedford Hills and Taconic Correctional Facilities, infants who were born & died at the facilities, and some male inmates and indigent persons as well.

It dates from the 1930s and contains over 100 burials. Most of the graves are marked.

The burials are in a wooded area near the entrance to Taconic, on the north side of Harris Road.
