The cemetery is on Road 30 (Pleasant Hill Road) about one mile northwest of the intersection with Gaddy's Mill Road and about one mile southeast of the intersection with Arnette Road. It sits on a pronounced hill in a field on the north side of the road. There is a nearby house, but the little cemetery road crosses a culvert and leads by the edge of the field up to the cemetery. History of the land is not known to me. Tupelo Bay and the NC state line are visible in the back of the field behind the cemetery.
The overlarge, long, modern marker at the front of the cemetery was erected about 1990 by Gaddy family descendants, after the cemetery and many of the markers were damaged by vandalism or carelessness or perhaps just fallen trees. There was a write up in the Dillon Herald Newspaper at the time (late 1980s) but I've been unable to locate the clipping.
Shortly after the damage, the broken markers, all in the second row, were repaired, embedded in concrete, and placed flat upon the ground on top of their apparent original graves. A row of footstones stands at the foot of each of those repaired stones in the first row, looking for all the world like another row of tiny little grave markers.
The only one of the large old markers in the first row that remains standing and intact is the marker for Ithamar Gaddy - standing sentinel, it seems, over the wounded family burying ground.
The new memorial marker at the front came down when a large tree fell on it during one of our recent hurricanes or storms. The marker seems to be intact, but lies completely beneath the trunk and limbs of the big fallen tree. Parts are inaccessible to photograph. Gaddy descendant Gary Rosensteel and his wife Peggy came from out west to research in Dillon County in March, 2017. We visited the Gaddy cemetery, and they valiantly climbed over and around the tree, limbs, roots, and fire ants to take exceptional photos of the inscriptions on the marker. We were surprised to learn the cemetery had not been posted to Findagrave. Gary entrusted me with the photographs, with the request that I post them to Findagrave. I do so here, with Gary's full permission.

The modern marker, above, is in the front row of the cemetery. No other markers of any kind were found in that row.
There are only two long rows with grave markers.
First Row: Winnie Carmichael, G. L. Carmichael, Winnefred Gaddy, Hardy Gaddy, Ithamar Gaddy, Charity Gaddy, Unknown, Thomas C. Gaddy, and Elizabeth Gaddy Grantham. Of those, Winnefred, Hardy, Charity, and Unknown are all broken, encased in concrete, and laying upon the ground.
There is one full row of footstones, six in all. These are for the five old stones in the first row for Winnefred, Hardy, Ithamar, Charity, and the Unknown. The last footstone is for Elizabeth Grantham.
Second Row: William C. Gaddy, and an old weathered wooden marker beside William. There are no other markers in this long row, though there are undoubtedly other graves in the cemetery.

This cemetery survey, cemetery page and the memorials for all those found here with grave markers was compiled by Jo Church Dickerson, with a great deal of help and encouragement from Gary and Peggy Rosensteel.
