Add PhotosAccording to Roy A Cann this was originally referred to as STOCKTON CEMETERY in which ROBERT STOCKTON THOMPSON and wife were buried in unmarked graves. He was appointed by the Governor as the first surveyor of Hart County, Kentucky in 1820.
