Add PhotosThe First Presbyterian Churchyard and Vaults were located at 10 Wall Street in lower Manhattan.
The First Presbyterian Church was formed in 1717.
Its location on the north side of Wall Street between Broadway and Nassau Street was opened for worship in 1719.
The building was rebuilt twice, in 1748 and 1810, before being dismantled and moved to Jersey City, New Jersey in 1844.
The church's vaults were emptied about 1825.
The churchyard burial ground was removed in 1844.
The congregation relocated to its present site at 48 Fifth Avenue between West 11th and 12th Streets in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan in 1846.
