Also known as the Whitamore Cemetery.
This cemetery has not been in use for approximately 100 years. This small family cemetery has a remarkable historical value, since it contains the remains of a few of the [Whitamore's] Whittemore's, that once were part of the earliest settlers of the (Ivy) or Barnardsville community. The location of the cemetery which is positioned on private property, will not be disclosed. The property owner has issued a warning to prosecute all persons who trespass upon this tract of land. The cemetery is overgrown and is in poor condition, since it has not been maintained in many years.
