Point of Rocks Cemetery - Bullskin Twp.
Transcribed from tombstones by Ken O'Neal
The cemetery is just out of Connellsville, PA. It is in very bad shape with many stones gone or buried in dirt. What I did find were broken. There were 8-10 bases but no stones and sunken places with no markers. The stones I did find were on the ground.
Directions: To find it take 119 North out of Connellsville. Just after you pass the Crawford Ave. exit north of town, turn right on Buttermore Rd. The road turns back toward Connellsville. There is a 75 foot ledge on the left and the cemetery is on top of it. Recorded July, 2000.

OLD TOMBSTONES DUMPED IN YARD OF AREA HOUSE
--------------
Bullskin Twp. policeman James Hinson is seeking information on the mysterious appearance of seven tombstones in the yard of a Coalbrook home.
The stones are old and weathered, Hinson said, but one bears the name of John Herbert, born Jan. 2, 1851 and died March 6, 1904. Another stone is inscribed with the name of Charlie Martin, but the dates are too dim to read, Hixon said.
The township policeman asks anyone knowing anything about the stones to contact him.
