Add PhotosIt was stated that this cemetery is located in the Conrad Hill District, close to the Emmons District line, south of Thomasville. At the time it was transcribed it was stated to be behind the Glen Barker Home which was at that time the first house east of Wright Road, on Hannersville Road. It is said to sit back 250 feet back of the house on the top of a hill in a pasture. This was transcribed first in 1981 and updated in 1985 so many years ave passed since.
They went on to write that "Andy" hunt and his wife and a girl are buried there. They referred to a "Ab " who I believe to be Albert Hunt and his widow who was Rachel "got burned up", Alberts death certificate does state he "accidentally burned in residential fire", that she is buried here. Also they stated that Willis Hunt was set afire on Easter Sunday night 1931.
The transcriptions listed 2 rows, the 1st row plots 1 & 2 child's graves with field stones at head and foot, plots 6 & 7 field stones at head and foot. The 2nd row plots 1 & 2 , field stones head and foot, plot 3. Burtie Hunt, plot 4 Rachel Hunt, plot 5 Funeral Marker, no information, plot 6, field stones head and foot, plot 8 fee no stones, plot 7, funeral marker, no information.
Other markers were said to be unreadable, but a descendant named John Hunt stated other persons buried there were:
Old Andrew Hunt
Willis Hunt (descendant of Andrew Hunt)
Bertie HUnt (Theopolis HUnt's sister)
Rachel Hunt (Albert Hunt's wife)
Another source, Arthur Lambeth who lived on Wright Road stated that Albert Hunt was buried here and that the graves were located on the old Albert Hunt family property.
