The Henry Brown Cemetery is located off of New London Road, Route 709, Forest, Virginia. Originally part of the plantation of Ivy Cliff, it is located across Route 709 approximately .8 miles down a jeep trail, partially covered with large gravel.

The cemetery is surrounded by a rock wall accessible by a set of rock steps going into and out of the graveyard. At present, the cemetery is badly in need of repair and trimming. Unable to locate some of the headstone under the periwinkle and underbrush.

There are three slave grave sites outside the Henry Brown Cemetery and they had no surnames. Interred were Daphne, Sarah DOD 1-28-1853 and Nancy DOB 11-4-1795 DOD 4-5-1817.
