DIRECTIONS: From Albemarle take Hwy 73 W to Old Concord Rd. (Originally Morganton Rd) turn left. Cemetery was located about 1 mile on right side of road ... what is now the road bank and ditch.

This old cemetery is known to have existed by family members. According to oral tradition the tombstones were removed and may have possibly been thrown in the old well. Mildred Lowder and other family members remember the existence of this cemetery. Lois C Huneycutt has been told that half of the cemetery might now be covered by the road. It is believed that 15 - 20 people were buried there including Henry Lowder, his wife Mary Lowder, and other family members.
